Project 2

Initially conceived as a 50 MW project, the capacity was later enhanced to 70 MW AC. The project supplies green power to C&I customers. Detailed feasibility was established with in-house expertise and a reputed international Tier 1 consultant covering equitability of land, route of transmission line, PVsyst analysis, etc.

   

This project encountered unique obstacles in terms of the acquisition of land due to cross possessions, inaccurate government records, and settlement of loans taken by landholders from various banks. It is a matter of great satisfaction that the acquisition/leasing of 280 acres of contiguous single parcel land was done for the Solar Plant.

Furthermore, one of the obstacles Solenco encountered was concerning the route of the transmission line. The project was to use the vacant arm of an existing transmission line partially. However, due to difficulties faced a new alignment was strategized and a new 6.5km 132KV transmission line was made in record time.

Solenco employed credible international consultant as a PMC for Solenco’s scope of work. We supported the client in obtaining permits and licenses to achieve COD.
